In an unprecedented development for South Dakota, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released exciting plans for the first Latter-day Saint temple in the state. Rapid City, nestled at the gateway to the Black Hills, will host the new temple on a 4.86-acre plot at the northeast corner of Mount Rushmore Road and Moon Meadows Drive.
