This achievement places South Dakota not just on the scoreboard, but firmly in the spotlight of collegiate golf, exemplifying perseverance and skill among the region’s athletes.
Ella Greenberg, a standout performer from the start, showcased her prowess on the green. She secured a spot in the top five individual standings with an remarkable consistency across three rounds, scoring 70 (-2), 75 (+3), and 74 (+2). Greenberg’s performance was punctuated by a stellar first round highlighted by four crucial birdies.
Coyotes also saw notable contributions from Catie Nekola, who mirrored consistency with round scores of 73 (+1) and 75 (+3), demonstrating the team’s collective resilience and precision.
