PIERRE, S.D. — Melissa Hull, a longstanding advocate for financial efficiency and security, has officially announced her candidacy for South Dakota State Treasurer. With seven years of dedicated leadership as Treasury Manager and a proven track record of improvements within the state office, Hull pledges to continue enhancing South Dakota’s treasury operations.

Since 2019, Hull has served under State Treasurer Josh Haeder, overseeing daily operations and rolling out significant modernization initiatives.
